Statement of Faith

We believe that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant and authoritative Word of God. (2 Tim. 3:16-17)

We believe there is ONE God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. All praise and glory are His forever (John 1:1-3)

We believe that Jesus Christ came to earth in the flesh, was born of a virgin, dwelt among us, and lived a sinless life. His death on the cross is an atonement for our sins. He arose from the grave and then ascended into heaven where He sits at the right hand of God. He will return to earth in power and in all glory.

We believe man was created in Gods image and being descended from Adam inherited a sinful nature and cannot save himself from the consequences of sin, which is eternal death. We believe that God and God alone offers redemption and restoration to all

who repent and put their faith in Jesus Christ, our Savior. It is by His grace, a free gift, apart from all works that we receive salvation. (Acts 3:19-21)

We believe that a) by accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we are born again by the Holy Spirit and become children of God. b)all who receive Jesus as their Savior are re-generated by the Holy Spirit and c) true salvation will be manifested by fruit in a believers life. (Eph. 2:8-9)

We believe that God made each life fearfully and wonderfully. He created them as male or female, purposefully two genders together reflect the image and character of God and to reject this belief is to disrespect, dishonor, and reject Gods Word. (Gen. 1:26-27)

We believe that marriage has only one meaning, unity of one man and one woman in one exclusive union. That marriage is a sacred and undeserving gift from God. All sexual intimacy is to occur only between a man and a woman who are in marriage union. (1 Cor. 6:18)

We believe that ALL human life is created by God and therefore is sacred. All human life whether pre-born, elderly, disabled, or any other stage or condition of life is valuable and worth defending. Believers are called to defend and care for all human life. (Psalm 139:13-16)

We believe in the Great Commission that all who believe in Jesus Christ are called to proclaim the Gospel to the ends of the earth. We are called to make disciples of all nations. We are called to a life of self-denying love and

service for His glory and our good. (Matt 28:18-20)

The Living Water Elementary"s statement of faith above is not the all inclusive of our faith as believers. The Word, and the Word alone, is the final and inerrant word of truth and has authority over every aspect of life. The Word alone is the source of wisdom for all the ways concerning ones conduct and morals. The Bible should be used for purposes of discipline, practices, and decision making regarding any and all of Living Water Elementary. It is by Gods will and grace that Living Water Elementary exists and all that Living Water Elementary is and will be, is to strive daily to glorify God and make disciples who will love and obey Jesus Christ, our Savior.
